Hey first I want to say thank you for doing this and shared what you experienced.
Listening to this helps my transition time out of YWAM.
I knew God through YWAM then I joined the church established by YWAM. I joined DTS, SBS and Titus all these amazing training schools. Also I staff for those schools too.
YWAM has become my identity for years. I just made a decision to leave the base recently.
It looks scared for me sometimes because I think people who did YWAM love YWAM. So do I. I still love God and mission. I even thinking how can I go to certain country in the future.
I don’t know how God will lead me to there. But first I agreed with what you said. That was a good time, but what’s next.
I do believe that the best place we should stay is the place God tells us to go. That includes leaving YWAM and going back school or working again!
I appreciated for this website and podcast that will help more people like me in the future. 🙂
Alice, Thanks so much for your kind words! We are so glad our podcast was encouraging to you. We pray that you will sense God’s presence with you as you take these steps of faith!
